Course
Communication is that the method of transfer of knowledge from sender to receiver. Figure shows a basic structure of a communication system. The transmitter converts the knowledge into signals appropriate for the channel. whereas the signals propagate through the channel, noise signals arise. These signals along side noise can reach the receiver finish, wherever message signal is filtered from the transmitted signal along side noise. To some extent, the noise signals are often filtered out and also the message signal are often reproduced
M.Tech. in Communication Systems is a 2 year postgraduate program. A communications system or communication system is a collection of individual telecommunications networks, transmission systems, relay stations, tributary stations, and terminal equipment usually capable of interconnection and inter operation to form an integrated whole. The components of a communications system serve a common purpose, are technically compatible, use common procedures, respond to controls, and operate in union.
The M.Tech programme in Communication Systems (CS) is designed with latest and state-of-the art curriculum focusing on inter-disciplinary research areas. The core courses and elective courses are on par with industry requirements. The programme curriculum is designed based on the valuable feed backs from the all stake-holders by a well experienced, strong BOS team comprising of Faculty, Industry representatives, Alumni and graduating students. The all-round development of students leading to holistic development is ensured by providing them the opportunities to involve in co-curricular activities via seminars, workshops, paper presentations in journals/conferences, hackathons, competitions and extra-curricular activities via techno-cultural fests, sports, and other clubs.
Eligibility
Admission to Part-time M.Tech. Programmes will be made on the basis of performance in the Entrance Examination conducted by JNT University Hyderabad. Candidates employed on regular service basis in and around Hyderabad and having an experience of at least one year after acquiring the prescribed qualification, are only eligible to apply
