Course
Master of Science in Environment Science is a postgraduate Environment Science course. Environmental science is an interdisciplinary academic field that integrates physical and biological sciences, (including but not limited to Ecology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Soil Science, Geology, Atmospheric Science and Geography) to the study of study of the environment, and the solution of environmental problems. Environmental science provides an integrated, quantitative, and interdisciplinary approach to the study of environmental systems.
Eligibility
As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates need to have completed:
- Higher and Senior Secondary levels of education (classes X and XII) with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.
- Graduation in Science/ Engineering/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geology/ Geography, with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.
- Often, candidates are required to qualify an institute, State or national-level entrance test for admission to the course.
Duration
M.Sc. Environmental Science is a 2-year full-time postgraduate course divided into 4 semesters.
