Course
Master of Science in Molecular Biology is a postgraduate Molecular Biology course. Molecular Biology covers the molecular structure of different constituents of a cell or organism. This highly focused field of education is in great demand for finding out the causes and remedies of incurable diseases like cancer and AIDS. The nucleic acid component of cell chromosomes are also matters of study in this course.
Eligibility
The minimum eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Molecular Biology are as follows:
- Candidates should have completed their B.Sc. in either subject of Microbiology, Botany, Zoology or Genetic with a minimum aggregate of 50% and above from a recognized university.
- Candidates who hold Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Agricultural, Medicinal, Dental, Engineering, Life Science or Veterinary with minimum aggregate percentage are also eligible for admission.
- They should have passed the entrance examination conducted by various state and national universities.
M.Sc. Molecular Biology is a 2-year full-time postgraduate program in Biology.
Higher Studies: M.Phil and Ph.D. in Molecular Biology.
