Course
MS in ENT is a 3- year postgraduate course in medicine pursued upon completion of MBBS with a 1-year internship. Otolaryngology or ENT (ear, nose and throat) is a division of medicine which involves the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose and throat disorders. Subjects studied as part of this course are Anatomy and Physiology of the ear, nose, and throat, Pathophysiology of common disorders of the ear, nose and throat, and research-based evidence generation.
Eligibility
- 10+2 education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as main subjects.
- MBBS from a recognized university.
- A compulsory 1-year rotating internship.
Specializations in ENT include the following areas:
- Otology,
- Head Neck Surgery,
- Facial Plastic Surgery,
- Neurotology or Surgery of the skull base,
- Surgery of the Thyroid,
- Surgical removal of Tonsils/ Adenoid and
- Pediatric ENT.
