Course
Ph.D. in Philosophy is a doctorate degree course and a professional certification which is pursued to become an independent scholar and also to become the teacher of that subject. This course prepares the candidates with specialist subject knowledge and research skills to train the students before they begin with their thesis. Ph.D. is a broad-based course involving a minimum course credit and the course is available in wide ranges of areas in Engineering, Science, Humanities, and social science. Three compulsory courses and two optional courses have to be elected from a list of around sixteen to twenty courses during the study period of the programme.
Ph.D. is a degree counted amongst the highest of degree levels which includes philosophical orientations to conduct researches and to construct conceptualism and scale development process. Ph.D. in philosophy is an advanced step which prepares students for becoming teachers of philosophies and various other independent ventures. This course makes responsible citizens and more than that, responsible humans.
Eligibility
Masters degree + the candidates should have cleared the Entrance test conducted by the respective university.
Duration: 3 years-6 years
