Course
Ph.D. in Sanskrit in Sanskrit is a doctorate level course.This course provides an introduction to Sanskrit language with emphasis on practical, written and spoken Sanskrit. Students who have completed their master’s degree in Sanskrit are eligible to apply for this course.Ph.D. (Sanskrit) course aims to train students in the field of Sanskrit computational linguistics, the traditional sabdabodha theories, and thus bridging the gap between the present and past. They will be exposed to the basics of computer programming, logistics, statistics, mathematics and NLP in addition and strengthening their basics in Vyakarna.
Eligibility
- Completion of postgraduate degree in Sanskrit
- A minimum of 55% or equivalent marks at postgraduate level
