Course
Ph.D in Urdu is a doctorate degree program.Urdu is a language which learns about linguistics, literature and philosophy of it. Candidates under this program are required to set up a detailed theory on any of the topics such as Urdu Fiction, Urdu Poetry, Literary Criticism, Drama and Urdu Literary History etc. PhD program is designed to learn the cultural aspects, literature and linguistics of the Urdu language. Among the numerous topics that are accessible for opting research are Urdu poetry, drama, fiction and literary criticism. On the basis of one or the other topics mentioned above, candidates need to put up a research proposal to the concerned college or university. Once the proposal will be accepted, you get the chance to concentrate on subjects like research procedures and begin with the course work. Under the supervision of a guide one gets the opportunity to complete the research in 3-4 years.
Eligibility
The minimum eligibility is master degree in the Urdu from a recognized college or university or its equivalent exam.
