M.Phil. Geology
Course
M.Phil. Geology is a postgraduate Geology course. Geology is the science that comprises the study of the solid Earth and the processes by which it is shaped and changed. During the course, candidates are introduced to plate tectonics, the history of life and evolution, commercially important mineral and hydrocarbon, the remediation of environmental problems and past clomates. The students of geology at this level study the composition, structure, physical properties and history of the planet we live on.
Eligibility
Candidates should have passed Master’s Degree in Geology with minimum of second class securing at least 55% of the aggregate marks or in an examination recognized as equivalent.
