M.Phil. in Zoology is an advanced postgraduate research program provided to conduct research in the subject. Master of Philosophy in Zoology is a research oriented program intended to provide the candidate with the proper tools to build up their own research in zoology. Zoology is a branch of biology that deals with the study of animal kingdom.The degree requires the candidates to carry out extensive research and prepare their own dissertation. Course includes rigorous study of topics like animal physiology & neurobiology, marine biology and research techniques. The degree is awarded after conducting original research in zoology but before the defense of dissertation.
Eligibility
Candidate applying must have successfully completed a Master of Science in Zoology with minimum of 55% aggregate score.
