BA Mrudanga is a bachelor level program in humanities. The mridangam , otherwise called Tannumai, is a percussion instrument from India of antiquated beginning. It is the essential cadenced backup in a Carnatic music troupe, and in Dhrupad, where it is known as the pakhawaj. During a percussion troupe, the mrudanga is frequently joined by the ghatam, kanjira, and morsing. Throughout the years, the mrudanga advanced to be made of various types of wood because of its expanded sturdiness, and today, its body is built from wood of the jackfruit tree. It is generally accepted that the tabla, the mrudanga Hindustani melodic partner, was first developed by parting a mrudanga down the middle. With the improvement of the mrudanga came the tala (mood) framework.

Eligibility : The candidate should have passed 10+2 Or SSC With Diploma In Performing Arts.Or junior exam passed.
