Course:
Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc) Aquatic Environment Management is a PG Programme. Master of Fisheries Science (M.F.Sc) Aquatic Environment Management Course offered by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) Kochi. Optimum utilization and sustainable development of fishery resources through water-quality management and eco-system improvement is widely acknowledged priority area of our country. Keeping this fact in mind the Department of Aquatic Environment Management (AEM) has developed its course curriculum for Undergraduate and Post graduate with emphasis on adequate knowledge of water and soil quality monitoring, management of aquatic environment and eco-system improvement.These programmes are designed to offer adequate strength in theoretical and practical training in the irrespective areas.The syllabi for these courses are designed in such a way as to equip the students to take up any challenge in fisheries and allied areas.
Duration: 2 years
Eligibility:
Four year Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Science (BFSc) recognized by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Science with an OGPA of 6.5/10.0 or above (In the case of SC/STcandidates an OGPAof 5.5/10.0).
