Further, M.F.Sc (Fisheries Engineering and Technology) degree programme as per the ICAR common information is being offered from the year 2010. The department is additionally providing student degree programme (Fisheries Engineering and Technology) from the year and 2017. Besides providing the education, it undertakes analysis comes touching on the event of eco-friendly fishing gears. This department is actively concerned in coaching fishermen on “Responsible fishing, Engine Maintenance, Sea safety, and maintenance of Fishing harbours and landing centres.

Four year Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Science (BFSc) recognized by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Science with an OGPA of 6.5/10.0 or above (In the case of SC/STcandidates an OGPAof 5.5/10.0)
