Course:
Master of Science (M.Sc) in Disaster Management could be a PG Programme. The course offers an intensive information on the region & Hydrological Disasters (Heat& Cold waves, Lightning, Flood, Drought,Cyclones, and Avalanches), Geologically connected Disasters (Earthquake,Tsunami, Landslides, and Volcanic Eruption) further as problems &Challenges, Warning, preparation, Mitigation& Response measures,Case Studies etc. As for Environmental Disasters, the necessary aspects like the Environmental Impact Assessment, ground conservation &Restoration, Quarrying, Solid waste & E-Waste Management – problems,Challenges & Remedial Measures, Rules & laws, various Technologies etc., area unit dealt thoroughly. The course covers business &Environment, Environmental Acts and Policies in India. Air, Water & Land Pollution, temperature change and its Impacts, Integrated Coastal Zone Management, Urban Risks & Management, Biologically connected Disasters-Disaster Mitigation and Management type a number of the core elements. Man made, Chemical, Industrial & Nuclear connected disasters, Road, Rail, Boat &Air Accidents, Dams & Reservoirs- Dam Safety & Reservoir evoked Seismicity, Dam Failure –Causes, Mitigation and Management measures etc area unit lined thoroughly. the scholars can perform a Project Workin their final semester of the program which has preparation of a'Disaster Management Plan' establishment/industrial unit/ward/are a using GIS.

Eligibility:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or B.Tech/BE Degree of any discipline with 50% marks or equivalent OGPA.
