The course provides opportunity to gain knowledge and experience on the properties and composition of seawater; Biogeochemical cycles, the importance, distribution, relationships and cycling of inorganic nutrients; dissolved gases; trace elements; Marine Pollution; Marine Natural products. The major objective this course is to create skilled manpower in marine chemistry to cater the need of academia and industry alike. To mould world class professionals in marine science to harness resources from ocean and help conserve ocean.
