Course:
Master of Science (M.Sc) in Marine biological science could be a PG Programme. Master of Science (M.Sc) in Marine biological science Course offered by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) Kochi. Marine Microbiology is that the study of the microorganisms (bacteria, archaea, viruses and microbic eukaryotes) within the marine surroundings, along with their multifariousness, ecology and bio geochemistry. Basic objective of the programme is to produce decent variety of competent young personnel with necessary information and ability within the space of marine microbiology to cater the requirements of the current and future.
Duration: 2 years
Eligibility:
- A Science degree with five hundredth marks or five.5/10.0 OGPA or a pair of.2/4.0 OGPA (50% forSC/STcandidates) in any of the subsequent subject mixtures.1. B.Sc in Biotechnology/Microbiology 2. B.Sc in Food Science & Technology 3. BSc in Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Biochemistry/Life Science 4. B.Sc in Aquaculture/Fisheries Science 5. BFScCandidates awaiting their final results of the qualifying degree examination may also apply. however they must manufacture their qualifying degree/mark list up to the semester preceding the last one at the time of the interview
