Postgraduate Diploma in Maritime law may be a PG Diploma programme. Postgraduate Diploma in jurisprudence Course offered by Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies (KUFOS) Kochi. The importance of this branch of law i.e., jurisprudence, celebrated earlier as “Admiralty Law in India . Especially within the context of inflated maritime activities because of economic and trade easement. An embarrassing position after we confront with maritime legal problems like determination of maritime frontiers , maritime territorial problems, exploitation of deep ocean bed resources, and protection against maritime pollution and preservation of marine biological diversity, activities of shipping and connected trades and maritime safety and security. We tend to discover well trained and qualified lawyers, directors and experts within the field of law, whether or not or not or not the govt. , business establishments or to defend our interest within the cases arising out of maritime problems. Department of legal studies in KUFOS has started LL.M jurisprudence courses that may be a PG programme comprising of 4 semesters. At an equivalent time for people who cannot afford to pay 2 years PG programme when getting L.L.B. The department is presently aiming in admiralty law this can give opportunities fort he product of this course to hunt employment in maritime centers and establishment and conjointly give continued education.
