Course
B.Sc. Critical Care Technology is an undergraduate program offered by KG College of Allied Health Sciences Coimbatore. The program aims to produce technologically capable staff to set up, monitor, operate and maintain medical equipment used in treating critically ill patients. They learn to use cardiological equipment ( ECG, Echocardiography, TMT, IABP, ECMO), Intensive respiratory equipment ( mechanical ventilator, non-invasive ventilation, high flow oxygen therapy, PFT), Renal replacement equipment (Haemodialysis, CRRT, TPE, Hemoperfusion) and operation theatre technology. Successfully graduated students are equipped to work in the critical care unit, cardiac unit, accident & emergency unit, dialysis unit, operation theatre unit and ambulance.
Duration: 4 years
Eligibility
Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) with PCB from any recognized board
