Course
M.Phil (Master of Philosophy) Mathematics is a one-year (two-semesters) program in science at KG College of Arts and Science Coimbatore. The course aims to teach students advanced developments in different fields of mathematics and their applications at a research level and imparts a broader knowledge of Mathematics. The applicant should have passed the masters program in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% mark. The SC/ST candidates need only 50% marks. KG College of Arts and Science is affiliated to Bharathiar University Coimbatore. Bharathiar University curriculum covers subjects including Research Methodology, Analysis and Differential Equations, Algebra and Topology, Guide Paper (Specialization Course), Dissertation, Viva-Voce.
