The Faculty of Medicine, Khaja Bandanawaz University previously known as Khaja Bandanawaz Institute of Medical Sciences offers MBBS programme with 100 students intake. The Faculty of Medicine is recognised by the Medical Council of India. With more than 18 years of expertise in the field of Medicine this course at KBNU transforms the students into qualified professionals.
Faculty of Medicine has most modern laboratories which are equipped with all necessary medical tools and equipment. for better learning experience. KBNU provides separate accommodation and recreational facilities for both genders.
Focusing more on practical practice this course was designed with precision. It provides a sound foundation and skills to become an outstanding physician with great diagnose capability. The Faculty has the best Professors from around the region.
The emphasis is given to integrated and bed-side teaching with community orientation. A centrally air-conditioned Auditorium with a seating capacity of 750 serves the community needs of the students
Eligibility
Candidate Required To Pass 10+2 With 50% Aggregate Marks Or Equivalent (With Physics, Biology And Chemistry).
Qualifying Examination : NEETDuration Of The Course
Every Student Shall Undergo A Period Of Certified Study Extending Over 4½ Academic Years From The Date Of Commencement Of His Study For The Subject Comprising The Medical Curriculum To The Date Of Completion Of The Examination Followed By One Year Compulsory Rotating Internship. The 4 ½ Years Course Has Been Divided Into Three Phases
- Phase - I - 1 year, consisting of two terms of 6 months each.
- Phase - II - 1 ½ years, consisting of three terms of 6 months each
- Phase - III - 3 ½ years, after Phase - I, consisting of 7 terms
