Master of Science (M.Sc.) Medical Microbiology
Course
M.Sc. Medical Microbiology course covers the molecular and medical aspects of virology, bacteriology, immunology, and mycology to infection. The main aim of this course is to provide the scientific basis of modern microbiological and traditional concepts. In this course, candidates will develop the practical skills, knowledge, and critical awareness required to pursue their career in medical microbiology.
Duration : 2 years
Eligibility : Candidates who have completed B.Sc. in any stream of science such as Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physiology, Microbiology or an equivalent degree in a science stream from a recognized board are eligible for Master of Science [M.Sc.] (Medical Microbiology) course. Candidates should obtain 55% of marks in their bachelor degree examination for Master of Science (Medical Microbiology) course eligibility (50% of marks for SC/ST candidates).
Higher Studies : Candidates who would like to continue their studies in Medical microbiology can further study M.Phil. Or Ph.D. course in Medical Microbiology.
