M.Sc. Perfusion Technology
Course
M.Sc. Perfusion Technology course will train you in areas such as – cardiology, cardiac surgery, operation theatre techniques, perfusion technology, relevant equipment, pharmacology, cardiovascular drugs, CPB machine, organ transplantation etc.
It is a Master’s Degree course. The course is 2 years long. Candidates who have completed relevant Bachelor’s Degree course (like B.Sc. Perfusion Technology) are eligible to apply for M.Sc. Perfusion Technology course and pursue it.
Eligibility
- B.Sc (Perfusion Technology / Anesthesia Technology / Cardiac care Technology/ Echocardiography) / MBBS/BAMS/BHMS
- Lateral Entry: Science graduate with 10 years’ experience in Perfusion Technology in a recognized hospital.
Duration: 2 years
Career Opportunities
After completing this course, you will be able to find a decent job in places such as – hospitals, cardiac care centers, multi-specialty hospitals etc. In these places, you may join the cardiac care/surgery team and don the following roles – perfusion technologist, perfusiologist, clinical perfusion scientist etc. You may also join healthcare training institutes and become a lecturer or an instructor in relevant educational institutes.
