MS Anatomy
Course
MS in Anatomy is a postgraduate medical degree in general surgery requiring surgical expertise and such skills. The program is usually split between didactic and clinical training.Anatomy is about the structural organization of animals and plants. Phytology or Plant Anatomy deals with the interior structure of plants, while Zootomy or Animal Anatomy deals with the morphology of the human body. The course involves the study of animals and the adult human body. Fields such as Cytology, Histology and Embryology fall under micro anatomy, which is the study of microscopic anatomical structures.
Eligibility
Candidates wishing to pursue the course are needed to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria listed below in order to apply for the course:
- MBBS, completed from an institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- A minimum aggregate score of 55% or equivalent CGPA at the level of graduation.
