Course
Post Graduate Diploma in Biostatics is Diploma level Biostatics programme. Biostatistics is the specialized application of statistics (involving study design, data collection, data analysis and interpretation) to the field of health. This program aims to fill the gap between programs in public health and epidemiology (which train users of bio statistical methods, not professional biostatisticians) and general statistics programs (which do not cater for the diverse and specialized needs in health research).
Eligibility
Post Graduates in Medical and Allied subjects with a paper in Statistics/ Mathematics and working experience at least one year in Health and allied Sciences including Population Sciences from any recognized university from Karnataka or other University with minimum 50 percent marks for general category, and 45 percent for SC, ST and OBC will qualify for admission to P.G. Diploma (Biostatistics) course.
