Course
MD Dermatology, Venerology and Leprosy is a three-year post-graduate clinical program offered at KMCT Medical College Kozhikode. Entrance exam passed MBBS holders from a recognised university can apply for this program. The course creates competent doctors with theoretical knowledge, clinical skills, research skills and teaching skills in dermatology, venerology and leprosy. It deals with initial medical, transitional and surgical aspects of diseases affecting skin, hair, nails and sexually conducted skin diseases. Kerala University of Health Sciences syllabus covers theory & practical in Allied Basic Science, Clinical Dermatology, Dermatology, Venereology, Leprosy, Dermatopathology, Dermatosurgery (including lasers), general & tropical dermatology including virology, leprosy and their public social health and preventive, dermatology including skin manifestation, recent advances in dermatology, venerology and leprosy.
