About Us
Koshys College of Nursing was born out of the educational vision of Mr. C. Koshy, who always exhibited an empathetic commitment towards the development of the society. Established in 2003 Koshys college of nursing undertook initiatives to establish & execute the Nursing curriculum as per the demands and challenges of health care industry.The Nursing education programme in Koshys began with General Nursing & Midwifery programme in 2003, and added up with Basic B.Sc Nursing and PBB.Sc (N) to upgrade the diploma nursing students. As a response to the demands of the profession, MSc (N) also started in the year 2010.Currently we run with General Nursing & Midwifery (60), Basic B.Sc Nursing and PBB.Sc N (60 each), MSc Nursing (29) under different specialties which include Medical Surgical, OBG, Child Health and Community Health Nursing.KCN with its holistic approach to education focuses on research and service and prepare the students to face the challenges in the health care industry with confidence coupled with competence. A promoter of sports, music and literary activities, it is altogether an excellent nurturing ground for creative excellence.In a span of 15 years it is identified as an outstanding academic institution dedicated to educating exemplary nursing professionals in accordance with the highest professional standards who will integrate clinical, biomedical and behavioural knowledge to promote the health and well-being of patients and communities. It has also achieved the cult status of being one of the top nursing colleges in India imparting “Nursing care with a Human touch.
