Course:
Diploma In Nursing and Midwifery is a Diploma Programme. Diploma In Nursing & Midwifery course offered by Krishna College of Thiruchirapalli. Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) is a three and half year diploma course (including six months internship) aims at preparing students to become competent nurses and midwives. Students who completed their 12th board exam are eligible for applying to this course. Based on Indian Nursing Council notice, the last admission of GNM will be 2020-2021 and after that GNM course will be no longer there. Topics covered are general health care, nursing and midwifery. At the end of the course, they will be educated and clinically trained in care-taking and nursing the patients. They can work in hospitals, clinics, community health care, government or private health as nurses.
Duration: 3 years
Eligibility:
- 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40%at qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. However Science is preferable. State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School recognized by Central Government.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM Course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing Council 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational.
- 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational Stream-Health care Science from recognized CBSC board.
- Registered ANM with pass mark
- Student shall be medically fit.
