Master of Arts (M.A) in Veena is a postgraduate program.Master of Arts (M.A) in Veena course offered by KSGH Music and Performing Arts University Mysuru.The veena (IAST: vīṇā) comprises a family of chordophone instruments from the Indian subcontinent.Ancient musical instruments evolved into many variations, such as lutes, zithers and arched harps.[3] The many regional designs have different names such as the Rudra veena, the Saraswati veena, the Vichitra veena and others.
The Indian Veena has always been considered as an instrument of the Gods and hence the name ‘Divine instrument’ has been attributed to it. From the earliest times, the Veena has been a guiding star for the development of Indian Music in general. But Carnatic music cherished the Veena and the Yazh as gifts of the gods and through centuries of study and experiment, coaxed out of them a system of music that has no parallel in the whole world.

Eligibility
- BA/B. Music/BA Music/BFA (in PA) or
- Any other equivalent Degree from a recognized University, and Qualified in the Entrance Examination conducted by the Vishwavidyalaya.
- Any other Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
