The College is named after our heavenly Patron, Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the Co-founder of the Congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), is our source of inspiration. His glorious vision of moulding new generation through education deeply rooted in the faith in God and love of humanity, is taken up by our institutions and we take pride in discharging this noble responsibility.The congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), one of the leading educational agencies in India, believes that education is the main spring of integral formation of the human person for the fulfillment of his /her individual and social responsibilities. The society, therefore, undertakes rendering of this prime service, based on love of God and service to the mankind as modelled in Jesus Christ, in a background of Indian heritage so as to produce an integral person. In pursuance of the above general objectives of education, the college has been defining its objectives from time to time.
