Course
M.A. in History and Archaeology is a postgraduate History course. It is the study of relative recent documented periods using materials culture as well as texts.It is one of the most rapidly expanding aspects of archaeology,and is dealing with many exciting issues. Historical Archaeology is a component of anthropological archaeology and historical anthropology. The program thrives on using artifacts,documents,environmental data,landscapes,architecture,and oral history in its holistic anthropological studies of colonialism, past and present indigenous peoples, globalization, urbanization, political economy, environmental change, multicultural societies of the modern world, and social history of the disenfranchised

Eligibility
Many reputed institutes prefer candidates with a graduation degree in history or graduation with courses of history of archaeology. Basic eligibility is a graduate degree in any stream with a minimum of 45-50% marks
