Course
Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary field of science, which focuses on the application of computer technology in order to collect, organize and analyze the information that is stored in certain types of biological data and convert ‘big data’ into ‘smart data’. It provides globally accessible databases that enable scientists to submit, search and analyze information and also conduct various medical research activities.Candidates interested in learning more about the field, can also pursue higher degree courses like Ph. D. (Doctorate of Medicine) and other research related studies. The program is designed to offer eligible candidates a specialization in the wide range of applications and techniques used in the field of Bioinformatics and to analyze software for data studies and comparisons and also provides tools for modeling, visualizing, exploring and interpreting data. During the course, candidates learn to convert multitude of complex data into useful information and knowledge.
Duration : 1 Year
