Course
M.Phil. (Social Work) course deals with all the social aspects including social problems, social work, human relationships, human nature and their solutions. This study is designed with objectives to make students able to conduct research on social issues, problems and their situation to create awareness about something initiate and socially coordinate and promote social work activities.Students in this course monitor, understand and improve the society in the best way. They also learn about assisting institutes and consultation in terms of socioeconomic, social, and community based issues. This course also includes studies as well as training on research methods related to article writing on journals, social work research, and presentation of research.This course helps students to learn major topics include Research methodologies, theoretical frame works and review, origin and development of social work, computer applications, social work practices, etc.
Duration : 2 Years
Eligibility
Students who have completed Master’s degree in social work or any equivalent stream in recognized university by UGC are eligible for this course. Students with minimum of 55% marks in master’s degree are eligible to apply for this course. In case of SC/ST students the minimum eligibility will be 50% marks can apply for this course.
