The BDS degree is awarded on the successful completion of the four-year academic education. The one-year mandatory internship programme in dentistry education leading to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree programme. After completing your BDS, you are qualified to practice as a dentist.
Eligibility
- Passing senior secondary examination with an aggregate score of 50% from a recognized board or equivalent examination
- It is required to have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects in 12th class
Duration: The duration of BDS degree ranges from 3 years to 5 years.
