Course
B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics is an undergraduate Physics course. Physics is the study of the natural and fundamental science called Physics that involves the study of matter and its motion through space & time, as well as all applicable concepts, such as energy and force in addition to study of the normal Bachelor of Science subjects like Mathematics and Chemistry. B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics degree course covers the study of a wide range of phenomena, from the smallest sub-atomic particles (such as quarks, neutrinos and electrons), to the largest galaxies. It also includes the study of topics such as Physics of Materials, Statistical Physics, Mathematical Physics, Vibrations and Wave Optics apart from various Physics practical.
Eligibility
Aspiring students should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in Science stream with a minimum of 50% marks secured in Physics subject and/or in aggregate from a recognized board of the country.
