Course
Product design deals with the creation of new products and improvement of existing products meant for mass production. Product design involves stages such as – conceptualization of ideas, planning and design, creation of the product, mass production and marketing the product.
The main aim of this discipline is to design and create products in such a way that it is functional, productive and marketable to large audience or customer. A product should be designed in such a way that it is – useful, aesthetic, desirable, logical and practical.
Eligibility
Minimum educational qualification required is – completed 12th (Arts, Commerce or Science) from a recognized board.
Duration: 3 years
Higher Studies
After completing B.Voc. course, graduates may go for M.Voc. course. M.Voc. course provides advanced technical knowledge related to the specific domain.
