Course
M.Tech. in Automotive Engineering is a postgraduate course. The course aims to train eligible students to design, develop, manufacture, simulate, and maintain vehicles and automobile systems and to enable such engineers to explore new areas and create new avenues in the field of R&D and to focus on developing in such Automobile Engineers new skills in technology and business management.
The program is designed to enable graduate engineers with the appropriate background to specialize in the fields of Automotive Engineering and Automotive System Design. The objective of the program is to strengthen the ability of the student to solve complex technical problems and to develop skills that would prepare the student to work effectively in close collaboration within a multidisciplinary team and develop R&D competency.
Eligibility
The eligibility for the course is bachelors degree in related discipline with minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a recognized/ reputed university.
Duration: 2 years
Higher Studies
Postgraduates of the course interested in further studies in the discipline may go for pursuing Ph.D. in the subject.
