M.ch in Genito-Urinary Surgery is a super specialty program which is offered by the Madras Medical College Chennai and recognized by Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University. M.ch (Magister Chirurgiae) is a Latin term especially for General Surgery. Medical aspirants can do this program only by completing MBBS or MS/DNB from any recognized university under the Medical Council of India. Genitourinary Surgery is a course that focuses on the problems related to urinary tracts of males and females and also on the reproductive system of males. There are lot of scopes after completing this program such as they can be Associate Professor/ Lecturer, attending consultant, Consultant Physician, urologist, urology technician, researcher, and consultant microbiologist.
