B.A Sanskrit is a three-year full-time undergraduate degree program that occurs in Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam. The course encompasses a non-technical course that links to a language program. This program comprises Sanskrit Prose, Poetry, Grammar along with certain sections of Bhagavad-Gita and Mahabharata. This course also teaches students to critically analyze various Sanskrit texts and Literature.The Mahatma Gandhi University shall possess a curriculum with topics such as Classical Sanskrit Literature (Poetry),Classical Sanskrit Literature (Prose), Critical Survey of Sanskrit Literature,Self-Management in the Gita, Classical Sanskrit Literature (Drama), Indian Epigraphy, Palaeography, Chronology, Poetics and Literary Criticism, Modern Sanskrit Literature, Indian Social Institution, and Polity Sanskrit and World Literature,Vedic Literature, Indian Ontology and Epistemology Sanskrit Grammar,Sanskrit Composition, and Communication. Students can work on different job roles school teacher, translator, language teacher, content writer, literary critic, copy editor, etc.

Eligibility : The candidates must have pass Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recoognized board
