Mahatma Gandhi University curriculum includes topics like fungi and plant viruses, algae and bryophytes, pteridophytes, gymnosperms and palacobotany, microbiology, angiosperms(Taxonomy and biosystematics), angiosperms (morphology,embryology, and anatomy), genetics and cytogenetics, soil science and phytogeography, plant biochemistry, plant physiology, plant ecology,molecular genetics-genetic engineering and biotechnology, biostatistics-cytology and plant breeding, plant resource utilization and conservation and so on.
