Course:
The Department of Nursing is one of the Clinical Nursing Specialty departments of the institute. It provides courses in Nursing with theoretical and practical elements to undergraduate and postgraduate students. The department aims towards excellence in clinical practice and strives to provide the students with various aspect of midwifery to become competent and caring midwives. We ensure effective and efficient services to our student community & enable them to function as educators, managers and researchers in the field of Nursing
Duration : 2 years
Eligibility:
The candidates should fulfill the following minimum conditions to become eligible for admission to M.Sc. Nursing course.
1. Should be registered nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration Council.
2. Passed B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with minimum of 55% aggregate from an Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council. 3. Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. Nursing. OR Minimum one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing.
4. SC/ST candidates will be eligible for relaxation of 5% marks in eligibility conditions.
5. Candidates should be medically fit.
