Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology (B.Sc MIT) is an allied health science undergraduate program offered by Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences Mangaluru. The program focuses on training the students in medical image processing,image manipulation, X-Ray/ MRI films, and efficient operation of the latest medical imaging equipment.The syllabus covers Anatomy, Radiation Physics, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Computed tomography and Ultrasonography Techniques, Orthopaedics, Radiographic Special Procedures and Patient Care, Physics and Darkroom Techniques, New Imaging Modalities and Recent Advances, Radiological Procedures and Patient Care. The course completed Manipal College of Health Professions students can easily find job opportunities in India and abroad as Imaging Technologists,Radiographer, X-ray technicians, MRI technician, Assistant Radiologist, Ultrasound Technicians.
Duration : 3 Year + 1 Year Internship
Eligibility : The candidates must have pass Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board
