Course
Ph.D. in Biotechnology is a year doctoral course.The course involves an advanced, research-based study of the discipline of Life & Basic Sciences, and allied disciplines of microbiology, and related technology.
A biochemist’s role field of expertise can encompass a wide range of scientific topics, including stem cell research, genetic research, immunology, pharmacology, forensics, cancer research, environmental science, and food science. This interdisciplinary program aims at academically exploring biological processes (reproduction, aging, and genetics) in terms of their chemical identity for easier comprehension.
Eligibility
- Post-graduation in Biology/ Biotechnology, from a recognized institute.
- M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Biotechnology or other interdisciplinary areas.
- A minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of post-graduation.
Minimum Three/Four Years and maximum five/six years for full-time and part-time research respectively.
