Course
Ph.D. in Yoga is a Doctorate level Media Studies course. Ph.D. in Yoga course helps to develop the skills in yoga therapy and get training to serve the people with using this therapy. In this course, students study mental, physical, and spiritual disciplines to originate insight spiritual and attain tranquillity by using meditating methods. Students learn physical limitations, non-strenuous approaches, and find the beneficial routine of yoga.
Eligibility
A candidate who has obtained a Master Degree from any University in the State or from any other University recognized as equivalent thereto securing not less than 55% marks in aggregate as a whole shall be eligible to register for the Ph.D. Degree Programme. However, in the case of SC/ST and the category-I candidates, the minimum marks required shall be 50%.
Duration
Minimum Three/Four years and maximum five/six years for full time and part-time research respectively.
