Course
MA Political Science is a postgraduate course which is offered by many universities and colleges in India. The course aims at providing specialized knowledge of Indian politics and international politics to students.It is an interdisciplinary course which focuses on various aspects of political science such as polity, political doctrines and ideologies, constitutions, international law, governing bodies, political philosophy etc. Students who wish to specialize in subjects related to politics and political science opt for an MA Political Science. While it helps develop an in-depth knowledge of different topics which inform political practices in India and around the world, an MA degree also increases employment opportunities with a relatively better pay package.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in any stream preferably Arts and Humanities.
- Students with a graduate degree in other streams can also apply.
- Minimum marks required vary from 45% to 55% in graduation and may vary for different universities.
