M.Sc. Botany is a postgraduate course in Botany.It is a discipline which is all about the thorough scientific study of plant life. Botany or Plant biology is a branch of biology that involves the scientific study of plant life. Botany covers a wide range of scientific disciplines concerned with the study of plants, algae and fungi , including structure, growth, reproduction, metabolism, development, diseases, chemical properties, and evolutionary relationship among taxonomic groups. The course covers all the related topics of the study fields. The course syllabus is designed in a way it will not only imparts the theoretical but practical training also.
Eligibility
Candidates should have passed B.Sc. Examination with at least 40% marks in the theory papers at the external examinations.
