Course
M.Sc. Organic Chemistry is a postgraduate course covering a sub-discipline of chemistry.It is the scientific study of the structure, properties, composition, reactions, and arrangement (by blend or by different means) of carbon-based mixes, hydrocarbons, and their subordinates. These compounds may contain any number of other elements, including hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, the halogens as well as phosphorus, silicon, and sulphur.
M.Sc. Organic Chemistry course aims to familiarize eligible candidates with concepts of various chemical analytical techniques, the advanced chemistry of main group elements, f-block elements, organometallic compounds, their stability and catalytic application, an introduction to nuclear chemistry.
Eligibility
Candidates wishing to apply for the course need to have completed B.Sc. from a recognized university, with a minimum aggregate score of 50%.
