Bachelor of Cardiovascular Technology (BCVT) is an undergraduate program offered by Manipal College of Health Professions Manipal.The course covers all areas of cardiovascular disease, training to use the equipment associated with it, management and care of heart and blood vessels. The cardiovascular technologists prepare the patients for invasive heart procedures, monitor the pressure and heart rate with ECG equipment, notify the cardiologist if there is a change in the patients’ condition and assist the cardiologist during cardiac procedures. There is a massive demand for experts in this field since heart patients and cardiac centers are increasing day by day.
Duration: 3 years + 1 year internship
Eligibility
Candidates must pass +2 (Science group) with a minimum of - 50% of marks from any recognized board
