Mental Health Nursing is a two-year postgraduate course specialising in Mental health of patients. The course prepares them to be an aid in assessing, diagnosing and treating mental health problems like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance abuse etc. The course also trains them to treat patients with violence, anger issues, grief and other adjustment issues. After diagnosing tests, they have to make a treatment plan and follow it. If necessary, they should administer medications and psychotherapy to the patient.
