Course
B.Sc. Critical Care Technology is an undergraduate program offered by Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute of Medical Sciences And Research Melmaruvathur . The program aims to produce technologically capable staff to set up, monitor, operate and maintain medical equipment used in treating critically ill patients. They learn to use cardiological equipment ( ECG, Echocardiography, TMT, IABP, ECMO), Intensive respiratory equipment ( mechanical ventilator, non-invasive ventilation, high flow oxygen therapy, PFT), Renal replacement equipment (Haemodialysis, CRRT, TPE, Hemoperfusion) and operation theater technology. Successfully graduated students are equipped to work in the critical care unit, cardiac unit, accident & emergency unit, dialysis unit, operation theater unit and ambulance.
Duration : 3 Years
Eligibility : The candidates must have pass Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized by MIOT Academy of Allied Health Science Manapakkam
