In general orthopaedics, the subjects that are covered are Infections, Tumours, Congenital Anomalies, Peripheral Nerve Injuries, Microsurgery, Imaging the Orthopedics, Other Non-traumatic Disorders, Operative Orthopedics, Surgical Techniques and Approaches, Arthrodesis, Practical Works, Closed Reduction of Fractures, Dislocations, Mastering Plastering Techniques, Debridement of Open Fractures, External Fixator Application, Internal Fixation of Minor Fractures with K- Wires, Excision of Benign Lessons, Tendon Lengthening, Incision and Drainage, Acute Osteomyelitis, Skull Tongs Application. And whereas in traumatology, the subjects are Fractures and Dislocations, Regional Orthopedics, Spine, Sports Medicine, The Foot and Ankles, Arthroplasty, Amputations, Clinical Diagnosis, assessment, Investigation, and the management of all surgical and Medical Emergencies, Performance of open Fractures, Splintage of the Spine and limbs for fracture-dislocations, Use of certain emergency drugs, Communication with the patients' attendants on the demise of the patient, handling the personal issues, Biopsies etc. The scholars who have succeeded in the PG course can lead in different job roles like Clinical Associate, orthopaedic surgeon, medical consultant, paediatric surgeon, orthopaedic professors etc.
