MD Rog Nidan is a postgraduate ayurvedic course offered by N.K.Jabshetty Ayurvedic Medical College and PG Centre Bidar. The program is studying the origin of disease, its process and diagnoses using traditional Ayurveda and modern medicine. According to Ayurvedic principles, diseases occur when there is an imbalance in the normal state of mind and body (Prakriti). The abnormal condition of the body and mind is called vikriti. Ayurvedic treatment tries to bring back the body to the normal state treating both mind and body. N.K.Jabshetty Ayurvedic Medical College and PG Centre is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Bengaluru. Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences curriculum covers theoretical, practical and hands-on training in Research methodology, Medical Statistics, Basic Principles of Ayurveda (Sidhanta and Samhita), Dosha - Dushya Vigyaniyam, Vishishta Samprapti Vigyaniyam, Pariksha Vigyaniyam, Vikriti Vigyan Sahitam Jivanu Vigyanam.
